What this website collects
The only information this website asks for is what you choose to type into the enquiry form:
- your name
- your company or organisation, if you give one
- your email address and phone number
- the service you are enquiring about
- the site postcode or location
- the type of project and how you prefer to be contacted, if you tell us
- whatever you write in the project details
The website does not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and it does not embed content from other companies. Your web host and any content delivery network in front of the site will keep their own server logs, which typically include IP addresses, as part of running the service securely.
Why we use it
Enquiry details are used to answer your enquiry, arrange a site visit and prepare a quotation. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact the business. Your details are not used for marketing unless you ask to be added to something specific, and they are never sold.
Who sees it
Enquiries are read by JRF Contracting. Delivering them relies on ordinary business services such as web hosting, form handling and email, each of which processes the message on our behalf under contract.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that lead to work are kept with the job records for as long as needed for accounting, insurance and contractual purposes. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted once they are clearly no longer relevant.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how it is used or ask for its use to be restricted. Contact JRF Contracting to make a request. If you are not satisfied with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
